Web site and Bandwidth

What is bandwidth?

Bandwidth is data transfer rate. Every time your web site is visited, files (text, image, video, etc.) are downloaded to the visitor's PC, or, in other words, data transfer takes place. More visitors mean more data transfer.

With large enough number of visitors initiating more and more data transfers, the demand for more files will exceed the service provider's maximum data transfer rate.

No matter what you've heard; there is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. We get charged for bandwidth; you get charged for bandwidth. And the circle goes on. So if you go over your allotted bandwidth; Flawebworks will charge you $.06 per megabyte of bandwidth.
