One of the best ways I've found for web site advertising is the Digital Point co-op advertising network, started by the owner and proprietor. Some features of the co-op network are:
You can display up to 5 links or banners; wherever you choose on your pages. You choose the text for your ad, and, more importantly, the anchor text. Links or banners must be on all pages, or all pages of a sub-directory.
Your site should be indexed in Google, in order to validate; but don't despair if it isn't. I recommend setting up a new site, display the ads - even if you are not indexed yet, you will be and you will start running one area of your web site advertising strategy. Small site or large site: you can still reap the benefits of the internet advertising network.
