You have just uploaded your web page but it still says "Test Page".
You did not name your first web page, or home page, with one of the valid
file
names as indicated below, so the placeholder web page still displays. This
needs to be exact - all lowercase letters, spelled correctly, etc.
- You uploaded to the wrong place. All contents of your web
site need to be uploaded into
the public_html directory. If you have uploaded
to the wrong location (such as the root folder for your account)
the server will not display your pages.
Home page file names (in order of precedence):
You ordered web hosting from us but your domain name still goes to the previous location.
Your registrar still has the old DNS (name server) information
on file for your domain name. Did you modify the record with
them? See our
Domain name registrars - domain name registration
page for information.
Your registrar has the right information but the change has not yet propagated. It takes anywhere from 1-4 days for a change in domain registration to propagate to all Internet Service Provider in the world. Has it been 72 hours since the change?
Your email is not being received properly, or you are getting an error message when checking a mail box at your domain.
Your email program is not set up correctly to check the POP account you created. Review the information at the Email - Retrieve and send email support page to make sure you are using the right configuration for your email program.
Your domain name is not moved over yet (see above) or not propagated. Email will not work properly until the domain name is fully updated to point to our servers.
You can also check your email with your ip address we assigned to you.
Check your Mail Manager configuration in your Control panel at to make sure you have set up the account correctly. Is it set up as a POP box or does it forward elsewhere? Instructions for setting up e-mail accounts in your control panel are here.
